General Terms and Conditions
Waiver and Race Requirements
Please see this page for our general race requirements, safety requirements and our waiver for all go karting activities.
Race Times / Arrival Time
Due to the dynamic of Go-Kart racing your race/session(s) can be delayed due to many varied reasons. Every effort will be made to ensure your race/session(s) start on time.
Customers are booked in at an arrival time, not the actual time the race heat starts. When you arrive we process waviers, and payment before a safety briefing. After the safety briefing you will head to the track for your race. We aim to process drivers from arrival to heat start between 15 and 30 minutes depending on race types.
Reservations cannot be delayed for late arrivals if there is an adverse impact on the running of the day.
Failure to arrive for your reservation will result in cancellation and you will not be entitled to a refund or postponement.
Conditions of Sale , Online Bookings and Gift Cards
By using our website or purchasing products in store, you are agreeing to be bound by these conditions of sale (“Conditions of Sale”), which includes our Disclaimer and our Venue Conditions of Entry.
Therefore, please read these Conditions of Sale carefully before selecting your purchases. By selecting the “I AGREE” checkbox, you acknowledge that you have read these Conditions of Sale, including our Disclaimer and our Venue Conditions of Entry, and that you understand them and agree to be bound by them. If you are making a purchase on behalf of another person, you agree that you are making the purchase and agreeing to these terms on that person’s behalf and, accordingly that person is bound by these terms.
Any decision regarding an exception to these Conditions of Sale may be made solely at our discretion.
We do highly recommend making a booking. Failure to arrive for your reservation will result in cancellation and you will not be entitled to a refund or postponement.
Purchases
You may purchase any of our products described on our website for the price specified on our website (and in the manner that we allow, such as by credit card).
If you wish to purchase any of our products by telephone, post or by visiting our venue then any such purchase will be governed by these Conditions of Sale, including our Disclaimer and our Venue Conditions of Entry, (but excluding any of our Conditions of Sale that are specific to purchases made using our website only).
All products purchased must be fully paid prior to admission.
Pricing
The prices of our products shall be the prices displayed on our website on the date of your purchase (inclusive of goods and services tax).
All prices displayed on our website are quoted in New Zealand dollars and must be paid in full, except where discounts are offered as detailed on our website.
Gift Cards/Vouchers
Gift cards/vouchers can be purchased online. Any such purchase will be governed by these Conditions of Sale, including our Disclaimer and our Venue Conditions of Entry.
Gift cards/vouchers can only be redeemed by presenting them at our venue’s front desk. The gift card/voucher is redeemable against any of our available products, except to purchase Race Meets / Event tickets.
The value on the gift card/voucher is non-refundable and cannot be redeemable for cash. No change will be given on purchases, but balances can be redeemed on other products and may be able to be transferred for later use.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards/vouchers.
Gift cards/vouchers expire 12 months after date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. To check your balance, the card needs to be scanned at our venue’s front desk.
Additional or other terms and conditions may apply to gift cards/vouchers purchased through third party providers (e.g. Grab One). Please refer to their terms and conditions.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the absolute right to cancel or vary any service for any reason including as a result of weather conditions, insufficient reservations, availability of product, track availability or any unforeseen event or circumstance. The selling agent and/or us accept no responsibility for any loss or additional expenses arising from changes, delays or cancellations of our services and activities.
If a cancellation of this nature occurs after payment has been taken for the purchase, we will as soon as practicable issue a refund to you.
Refunds
Refunds are made in accordance with applicable consumer legislation or in the absence of such legislation at our sole discretion.
Failure to arrive for your online booking reservation will result in cancellation and you will not be entitled to a refund or postponement.
Events, IGP'S and Endurance Races
The following terms apply to pre-paid Event bookings:
Once payment has been requested your booking is considered confirmed. Any deposit collected or expected to be paid is nonrefundable. You are able to change the booking date if your circumstances change up to 2 weeks before the booking date.
Within 2 weeks of the race booking you are unable to change booking dates, and the outstanding balance is due. This is the last chance to change the numbers of drivers racing.
If for some reason a driver is unable to attend on the day, we will give you a Free 10 minute ride ticket that can be used by a suitable driver in the future. Please be aware this means we will not be able to provide a refund.
